Kathon™ Fuel 15 Biocide 

Kathon™ FP 15 Fuel biocide is based on the active ingredient of 5-chloro-2-methyl-3(2H) isothiazolone and 2-methyl3(2H) isothiazolone (C.M.I.T./M.I.T.) in a 3:1 ratio.  Widely recognised and approved by engine manufacturers globally, Kathon™ Fuel 15 is renowned for its efficacy, validated through numerous studies.

Kathon™ stands out for its performance and broad-spectrum activity. Registered with the EPA, its use is permissible in the USA.  It efficiently combats a range of common fuel contaminants, including bacteria, fungi, and yeast.

The active ingredient of Kathon™ FP 15 Fuel is used in many industries as a versatile preservative and disinfectant. Kathon FP 15 Fuel finds its application in diesel fuels, marine fuels, heating oils, and more, owing to its solubility in fuel. To ensure a successful application of Kathon FP 15 Fuel ad-equate mixing should be applied during its addition.
