BREXIT Statement

Our MD Graham Hill has made a statement about the current BREXIT situation.

“ECHA Microbiology is increasingly concerned about the prospect of a no-deal BREXIT and the potential disruption this could cause to delivery of our products and services to valued customers in Europe and the Rest of the World.

However, we want to assure you that, although the uncertainty of arrangements which will be in place after March 29th makes precise planning difficult, we have taken every measure we can to ensure any disruption in production and delivery of our products is minimised.

This includes measures to stockpile raw materials, risk assess our resource and supply chains, and ensure all our export software and data is kept up to date; including planning for the possibility that import duty rates may change should there be a no-deal BREXIT.

We hope that should there be disruption, it will be only temporary and that we can continue to serve all countries in the world with the same excellent service level we have maintained for many years.

As a precaution, should you have a time critical need for our products and want to ensure continuity, you may wish to ensure all your stock requirement is placed on order several weeks before March 29th.  You may also wish to consider holding additional contingency stock.

ECHA prides itself on its ability to serve a global community and we value our international partnerships.”
