Swabs and Pipettes
Both the swabs and pipettes are sterile, individually wrapped, and single-use disposable items. This ensures that each device remains sterile until opened. Users can rely on them for sample collection and transfer, without the risk of contamination or cross-contamination associated with using non-sterile sampling tools.
Culture Swabs
Culture swabs collect microorganisms from surfaces and transfer them to a test kit for analysis. If desired, the area to be swabbed can be measured, allowing the microbiological test result to be related semi-quantitatively to the area swabbed.
The swabs provided by ECHA are sterile, absorbent, and individually wrapped in transparent packaging. Each swab is printed with a traceable lot number and expiry date, ensuring that users can be confident they are using sterile disposables and maintain complete traceability.
Pipettes
Pipettes are easy-to-use, sterile liquid measuring devices that provide a versatile tool for direct sampling of liquids and sterile transfer of samples between containers or directly into test kits, without the risk of contamination. Additionally, they enable precise measurement of samples into test kits when required.
Pipettes are particularly handy for collecting the water phase from beneath fuel or oil samples, facilitating separate water phase testing if needed. The pipettes we provide are sterile, individually wrapped, and fuel-resistant. They are graduated to 0.5 ml and have a total capacity of at least 3 ml.
