ECHA Appoints Financial Director

We are excited to announce the appointment of Siân Johnson as ECHA Microbiology’s Financial Director.

I’m delighted to announce that at our Board meeting on 29 June, we resolved to appoint Siân Johnson to ECHA Microbiology’s Board of Directors. Siân has been an invaluable support to the Senior Management Team since she joined ECHA as Financial Manager at the end of 2019, bringing new skills and insights into both our financial management and HR issues. I’d like to say how much our current Board – myself, Gisela, Derek and Steve – are looking forward to working with Siân. Siân will continue her duties in Financial Management, IT and, of course, representing our staff and the company in the management of HR issues – but will now do so with additional levels of responsibility and initiative.  Her position as Financial Director starts with immediate effect, and I hope you will join us in congratulating Siân in her new role.
