Fuel Extractant Kit
The Fuel Extractant kit offers a reliable method of extracting microbes from fuel samples into an aqueous sample, ensuring suitability for testing purposes.
Extracting Aqueous Solutions
Our Fuel Extractant kit provides users with assurance that the sample used for testing is suitable for a microbiological analysis. Its unique methodology simplifies the extraction of microbes and water held in suspension, from fuel samples. This ensures the creation of the perfect sample for test kits unsuitable for use with dry fuel samples.
Extraction Process
Fuel Extractant bottles are sterilised and sealed prior to use, users can rely on them to provide a reliable and clean extraction process. Trying to use test kits designed for water-based samples on dry fuel samples will only result in erratic results. Our Fuel Extractant Kit means users don’t have to take this risk, but can instead extract the microbes from fuel samples prior to testing.
Considerations
While extracting microbes from fuel into an aqueous solution is widely recognised as an effective tool, it’s important to acknowledge that complete extraction of all microbes is not guaranteed. The efficiency of the extraction procedure may be influenced by the type of fuel being tested. To test fuel samples directly without relying on an extraction procedure we recommend the use of the MicrobMonitor2 test kit.
